Hair Extensions for Thinning Hair?

Hair Extensions for Thinning Hair?

Today I'd like to answer some of the most common questions that I have been receiving from you.

1. I have active hair loss and I want to know if wearing clip in hair pieces will be too much in my hair?
The first thing that I suggest if you have active hair loss due to medical reasons is that you should consult your physician first to see if wearing clip in pieces would be OK in your thinning hair. If you have a hair loss or hair thinning due to postpartum, menopause or any other hormonal changes then wearing clip in pieces will not be a problem at all.  I designed Tressmerize with 6 pieces only that has minimum clips and pieces but still it provides the coverage as much as 10 clip in hair extensions pieces would. Even more since you are getting the coverage on your crown as well something that hair extensions only can't do.

2. My problem is thinning on top of my head and I want to know if Tressmerize will cover it?
If you have thinning on the crown Tressmerize hair topper is perfect to cover that. When this video was made we were offering small base topper since then we have changed our toppers and now offer larger base 5" x 6" monofilament lace hair topper that covers even thinning around frontline.  Our hair toppers are 90 grams in weight that are perfect to disguise hair loss or patches but still looking natural and not bulky as a wig.  Hair Topper is a great alternative to wigs because they're beatable and natural looking and provide coverage in areas you need the most.

3. What to do when the hair topper isn't laying flat?
With larger base toppers we no longer have this issue. But usually during the shipment or hair being packaged for a while in a bag the toppers can get out of their natural shape. Since the hair toppers are human hair, and human hair if it stands in same position for a while tends to mold to that shape. In case you get your hair topper and you don't like the part where it is, the first thing you need to do is wet the hair and make sure it is really wet, so that you can comb it how ever you like it.  You can even clip in your wet hair topper on your head and comb it so that you can see where the style is going and if it is going to work the way you like it. Once you have the hair topper parted the way you like it, you can take a blow dryer and dry it to set the hair in that place. The hair topper will take the shape and stay like that until your next washing.

4. How do I choose the color and how do I choose the shade that doesn't match my own color?

To help you choose the best shade for you you can email me at service@tressmerize.com and I will try to help you choose the best shade. If by any chance I don't have the shade that matches your hair color, I always suggest you order a lighter shade. It's always easier to color your hair topper and extensions darker than buying a dark hair topper and extensions and needing to lighten them.

If you have any other questions and would like me to answer them in the blog or  video for you, please feel free to leave me a comment or email me at service@tressmerize.com
